Explore the freedom!
Various roads are not on any map. However, eating and drinking is no problem on the way. From a simple stall to an atmospheric restaurant on the river: Thai food is good everywhere.
You experience how simple life is here, with constantly smiling and kind locals.

The route starts in
Chiang Mai, the cultural capital of the north. Once out of town, you
immediately enjoy the peace. Two slopes are followed by beautiful descents and
then the climbing is over. The route mainly follows the major Thai rivers, the
lifeblood of the country, on its way to the south; over river dikes and farm
roads.
Sometimes you have to cycle a small part on a somewhat wider road.
In addition to untouched and varied farmland, this route takes you to the historic cities of Sukhothai, Kampaeng Phet and Ayutthaya, where, with the help of its monuments, you can dream of the past: the glory times of the Siamese Kingdom. The route ends in Bangkok.
The accommodations are generally of good quality. At various places along the way, you have the choice of various more luxurious accommodations. The prices are not too bad in these non-touristy areas.
