Explore the freedom!

You will cycle through the inlands of Sri Lanka, through small villages and towns, past the many cultural, historical and landscape sights and through a beautiful hilly landscape with widespread tea plantations.

Upon arrival, you will stay two nights in a cozy, small-scale hotel in Negombo, a calm environment, so that you can start your cycling adventure well-rested. It will be very worthwhile to take a short but fascinating “practice trip” around Negombo.

Everything you encounter along the way will leave a big impression on you: the salt pans of Puttalam, the Wilpattu National Park, the rock-carved temple at Dambulla, the lion rock of Sigiriya, the ruins of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, the often overwhelming nature, the tea plantations, the beautiful beaches, the elephants and the fascinating daily life. In short, cycling is fantastic here!

You will also regularly be able to spend the night in accommodations ‘with character’. Do you want an unforgettable and versatile cycling holiday? Everything is possible in Sri Lanka!

Following the attacks in 2019:
We were shocked by the terrible attacks in Sri Lanka in April of this year (2019). A shock to the population and to the upcoming tourism. We keep a close eye on developments. At the moment (June 2019) we are happy that the travel advice is back on the same level as before the attacks. It is a fantastic cycling destination. Please contact us for more information.
