Nepal
A fantastic hike for the adventurous traveler! In recent years we have regularly been asked why we don’t have a bicycle route through Nepal. The infrastructure in this country makes it impossible to cycle safely and pleasantly. On the other hand, it is extremely suitable for an active walking trip. In this way, we still want to introduce you to this breathtaking country.

The Manaslu trek is similar to the trek around the famous Annapurna massif but less touristy. This route is well structured concerning acclimatization.
The route will take you through rice fields and gradually up to the Manaslu Glacier. The highest point is the crossing of the Larkya La pass at 5105 m.

After your arrival, you will start by exploring Kathmandu in a lively way.
The trek will start after a bus ride from Kathmandu to the village of Soti Khola at 700m. We walk through beautiful rice fields. Here we are immediately introduced to the influence of Tibetan culture. The vegetation of rhododendron and bamboo forests turns into spruce and pine forests, with snow and the eternal ice of the glaciers in the background. Finally, we can admire the Manaslu (8156 m) up close. In Samagaon we will have a rest / acclimatization day and we can perhaps visit the local monastery. Afterwards, we will prepare for the pass of the Larkya La (5105 m). After the pass we arrive in the valley of the Dudh Khola. Through picturesque villages we descend again into the Marsyandi valley and we arrive at the approach route of the Annapurna Rond tour. From Chamj or Jagat we go back to Kathmandu by jeeps and bus.
This group tour is accompanied by an experienced Dutch guide, together with a very fluent English-speaking Nepalese guide. Carriers will go along to transport most of your luggage. The nights will be spend in lodges.
The minimum number of participants is 10 and the maximum number is 14.
